Winning garden of the Principal BALI (British Association Landscape Industry) Landscape Design Excellence Award 2010, Maltese Road by Aralia Garden Design, was chosen by the SGD (Society of Garden Designers), in conjunction with the RHS, to be part of the National Open Garden Scheme (new this year), and was open to the public on the 24th September 2011 in Chelmsford. It was a huge success, there was a constant flow of visitors throughout the afternoon and everyone mentioned how lovely it was to see a ‘normal’ sized garden open to the public for a change. Due to the interest created by the garden it was spotted by the BBC who approached us and asked if they could film the garden for their up-coming season of Gardeners World. It will be aired early 2012 so keep an eye out!
