Aralia Garden Design, Established in spring 2004 have been going from strength to strength in recent years. Not only have they won the BALI Landscape Design Excellence Award 3 years in a row (2009, 2010 & 2011) and won a Silver Flora medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2009 with their innovative kitchen garden ‘Freshly Prepped’, but they have been so overwhelmed with work that accredited owner, Patricia Fox who trained in Landscape and Garden Design at the highly acclaimed Writtle College, has had to take on new members of staff. Patricia took on her first member of staff, Tristen Knight (Senior Designer), in 2008. She then hired Trudy Chappell (Administrator) in May 2010, and she’s currently on the hunt for another recruit to become another valued member of the team. The company was run from Patricia Fox’s home, a beautiful Grade 2 listed thatched cottage on Dunmow Road in the picturesque village of Hatfield Heath where she lives with her husband, 2 daughters and 3 cats. However with all the recent recruits the slightly humble office was spilling at the seams, so in November 2011 Aralia Garden Design moved to New House Farm in Sawbridgeworth, into a very luxurious and spacious office which has plenty of room for the company to grow.
