With the owners of this property only wanting to remain in the house for 5-10 years, the emphasis was for the Aralia landscape design team to add value to the property, focusing on making the country garden both functional and also more aesthetically pleasing. The overall aim was to unite the annexe and the country house, which previously felt very disjointed. Aralia addressed this lack of unity through artful garden design; the new masterplan for the country estate garden featured extensive planting beds and many new innovative contemporary landscape features. A more contemporary swimming pool area was designed by Aralia, whilst also introducing a softer, classical feel for the wider landscape. The overall result was a balanced harmony between architecture, terrace, garden and the wider landscape.
Aralia provided a full Design & Build service for this country garden project, taking the project from concept through to full implementation of the whole masterplan.
