This contemporary house was still in the process of being built when Aralia were commissioned to design the garden space. The property developer wished to develop a family home which would have wide appeal to a range of potential purchasers.
Aralia loved the innovative partially sunken architecture of the property, however the height of the many different levels would need to be considered and addressed when working within the garden scape. Considering all these elements, Aralia Landscape Architects created a contemporary and sleek design that linked the architecture of the house and garden to the wider landscape. Taking note of the extremely high standard finishes of the internal property, Aralia ensured that the garden reflected this level of quality, as well as using materials that were complimentary to the ‘dry stone’ walling which was a dominant feature of the architecture of the house.
Aralia worked as Landscape Architects working within a multi-disciplinary consultant team which included Architects, Structural Engineers, Cost Consultants a range of sub-contractors. Aralia were responsible for concept creation through to design detail.
