In July, our Senior Designer won RHS Young Garden Designer of the Year and a Silver Gilt Medal at RHS Tatton Park for his Brownfield Beauty Garden. The inspiration for Brownfield Beauty came from a passion for 19th and early 20th century industrial architecture on brownfield sites.

The garden is part of a larger external courtyard area of a redeveloped industrial building that has been converted into luxury flats. It is somewhere for residents to meet, socialise and relax. The space looks industrial and rustic, and the planting and mock rill water feature create a relaxing atmosphere. Four Venetian blind-style screens and large ornamental trees provide a sense of seclusion and privacy.
