Aralia has been shortlisted for ‘Best Small Residential Garden’, by the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) , sponsored by Homes & Gardens magazine. The London garden submitted is in the grounds of a five storey, Grade 2 Listed Town House near Regents Park in London, which has undergone extensive renovations both internally and externally. This stunning London garden includes a wealth of features, very much in keeping with the period style including black metal pergola spanning the full width of the garden, reclaimed York stone terrace, architectural external decorative stairs and balconies, water feature, lawn and planting beds full of lush perennials and shrubs.
“We are overjoyed to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award, it will be the third award that this garden has merited” says Patricia Fox “it’s a privilege to work on such interesting restoration projects – and interestingly we have just completed the build for another small London garden just three doors away!”
Aralia are experienced in the design of high end London gardens, including roof terraces, courtyards and small private spaces. Recently, Aralia were commissioned by St George PLC for a series of seven penthouse roof terraces for their Chelsea Creek development and the build for these is due to commence imminently.
Aralia also won this prestigious award back in 2012 with another stunning small urban space ‘Maltese Road’. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Friday January 30th.
