There are fewer than 200 accredited designers in the UK who are certified as a ‘Member of the Society of Garden Designers’. Patricia Fox, founder of Aralia, was awarded her ‘MSGD’ status in 2009 and now Aralia Associate, Alastair Henderson, has also been awarded MSGD status.
To gain this status applicants must go through a rigorous interview stage and submit 3 fully completed landscape projects, all of which must reach the very high standards set by the SGD. This professional accreditation is a mark of very high quality standard, recognising both Alastair’s talent & his in-depth knowledge gained over many years. We are delighted as a landscape design practice to now have 2 MSGD accredited designers within the company.
