Contemporary is an extremely broad phase, which can be discerned in many different ways. For us, a Contemporary Garden, is where the Client wishes to be a little different, and wants either to create a ‘Wow’ statement garden, or where they wish to create quite a minimalist space. The brief often goes hand in hand with the request for a Low Maintenance garden, although this does not have to be the case! New, cutting edge materials can be introduced, or not, older traditional materials may be introduced and used in a different way. We will often take our lead from the client’s interior style, and/or the architecture of the house itself, to inspire us, and to direct our initial design work.

• Lighting enhances the overall structure of the garden, or it can provide a totally different dynamic view during the dark
• Unusual Sculptures or Water Features can enhance the overall style
